Dating back over 100 years, the restaurant simply radiates charm; the cast iron pillars aren't just for decoration - they really do hold up part of the building. In the ambience of its largely preserved Art Nouveau interior, with lots of wood, carving and mirrors, you can enjoy freshly cooked dishes reflecting the best of German cuisine, as well as seasonal homemade specialities. The good food is matched by a selection of excellent wines, various beers and delicious cocktails. The lunchtime menu costs ?5.90, but the loyalty card makes it even cheaper, because the 11th meal comes free. The seasonal menu features a variety of fish dishes.
