Enhanced by glorious views of the Thames, the Aqua Brasserie in Vauxhall presents these vistas through the floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the dining area with light. The decor is very cosmopolitan, with a horseshoe-shaped bar where you can enjoy a drink before your meal. Aqua Brasserie serves food throughout the day, from a fantastic all-day breakfast to a broad range of light bites at lunch time. In the evenings, the menu changes to more substantial fare, including Spicy Lamb Sausage with Harissa, Pan-Fried Red Mullet and a selection of vegetarian meals. Desserts are chic but not overbearing, and the wine list has enough to satisfy the most ardent wine connoisseur. All in all, the Aqua is considered a civilised and relaxed dining experience.
