Ian D: "De Kuil is quite a small coffeeshop with a small seating area by the window and then a long bar along the left wall. Behind the bar is a big, smart wooden cabinet and opposite the bar are some tables with tall bar stools.Beyond the bar is a lower section with a pool table. Music is pre-programmed from a selection of hundreds of tracks. Classic rock is the order of the day with a special place for Frank Zappa. His initials are on the window and there are 4:20 signs around the place reflecting de Kuil's popularity with American tourists.Another distinctive feature is the friendly bring-your-own food policy." |
