Located in beautiful and idyllic Miradouro de Santa Catarina, and surrounded by amazing views, fado music and local restaurants Johnies Place just recently opened on the 1st of March 2008. It’s in walking distance to all the major attractions and interesting spots of Lisbon, or otherwise the stop for the excellent and rustic Tram 28 is 1 minute walk from the front door. This tram can take you to the Estrela, Bairro Alto, Castle São Jorge, Feira da Ladra, Alfama and Graça. The famous Bairro Alto area is just 5 minutes walk from our door, with many bars, design shops and good restaurants.
##At Johnies Place:
One of our 4 bed dorms has single beds instead of bunk beds.
There is a Foosball table for 4 people :)
We hold a Barbeque every Friday, providing an excellent opportunity to meet lots of new and interesting people
We can organize courses with a surfing school (for beginners to advanced). The courses are conducted at the famous Costa Caparica, where you will find world class waves and excellent instructors for an unforgettable day!
We appreciate the importance of a clean facility. Johnies place is cleaned every day
If you like to stay in the central part of Lisbon comfortably and with a maximum of 6 people in a dorm, this is the place for you. The difference here is that at Johnies Place you feel like you are home. We have covers (no blankets) and fresh and clean linen on every one of our comfortable beds. We also have fans in every room
Our staff are well informed about Lisbon, and can give you the best directions and special tips about our lovely city
We also hold a free Fado Tour every Wednesday! it’s true, completely free!
