The Atlanta Hostel recieves lots of praise for it's excellent location. The City Bus stops in front of the Hostel and the sub-way (MARTA) is just 4 blocks up Ponce de Leon Ave. MARTA goes into the Airport near baggage claim and the Amtrak station is only 2 miles.
All points of historic significance, cultural value or just fun are convenient to the hostel. The hostel building is a three - story red brick structure. The City of Atlanta has designated the building as "Historically Significant".
This Hostel is the first full hostel to exist in Atlanta (1991). The family run hostel has grown from 20 beds in 1992 to 100 beds in 1996. Joseph, the Manager who lives on the property, insist on a clean, fun envoirnment.
The pool table, the satellite T.V., free lockers, front glassed in porch, FREE COFFEE AND muffins or donuts, free maps, full kitchen, plus all standard hostel features make the Atlanta Hostel a God-sent for the weary student hostel traveler.
Please note: Reservations made for our dorm rooms may have between 6 and 8 beds. We spread people out as much as possible to prevent the dorm rooms from becoming too crowded. When you book a bed in our 8 bed dorm room we will always try to place you in a smaller 6 bed dorm room first if they are available. The 8 bed dorm rooms are larger to accomodate the extra beds and are also ensuite.
We have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 72 hours or do not show you will be charged for one nights accommodation. ALSO, PRICES SHOWN DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL SALES TAXES
