This Hostel is the newest, fully renovated hostel in the city surrounded by the rich historical heritage of Harlem. Apollo Theatre, The Lenox Lounge, and the world-renowned Cotton Club are all just minutes away. Along with their diverse shopping district, you will also find Harlem holds some of the most intriguing educational Landmarks full of the magnificent Harlem culture, like Columbia University, The Studio Museum, The Duke Ellington Statue & the Malcolm Shabazz Market.

5th Avenue offers a range of rooms from 4 – 10 bedded dorms and private rooms. Our private rooms include twin beds that convert into a king size, and a private bathroom To better accommodate you, our hostel is equipped with an elevator (coming June 09), a separate Luggage Room and a back patio where we hold our summer BBQ's.
We also have a kitchen with a Plasma Screen TV, Snack Machines, fridge, microwave, coffee pot and stove for our guests' disposal. Lockers & Safety Deposit Boxes can be rented to secure all your valuables for a small fee. 24-hour Reception is on hand to help answer all your questions as best as possible by our friendly multi-lingual staff to help make your stay a COMFORTABLE and ENJOYABLE one.

***Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance via phone or email. In case of a 'NO SHOW,' one night will be charged.
