"The Voland Café uses its own, as well as traditional recipes borrowed from the regional cuisines of the Ukraine and as far afield as central Asia. On the drinks menu of course are ice-cold vodkas, brandies from Armenia, herbal infusions from Latvia, wines from Georgia and beer from Russia. This Berlin-based restaurant, which is barely the size of a living room, looks somewhat worn round the edges, but this is only testimony to the many happy parties and cosy evenings that have taken place here."
