Your primary responsibility will be to utilize design and user interface knowledge to create designs and Photoshop mock-ups for new mycitymate web and mobile features. You will then put these designs into action using DHTML, Ajax and Flash, developing and maintaining the front end of our consumer-focused websites and services.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years graphic, web and interface design
- Knowledge of HCI fundamentals
- Excellent DHTML and AJAX skills
- Proficient with adobe, illustrator, Photoshop and Flash
- Experience with Widget platforms a plus
- You are creative and innovative
- You thrive in a challenging start-up environment and understand what it takes to create truly elegant products
- Basic understanding of German would be a plus
- Strong communication skills & desire to work as part of a team

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain a heavily networked, easy-to-use, mobile client application.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years mobile development experience with J2ME and/or .mobi
- Excellent knowledge of and proficiency in J2ME/Mobile Java for a wide variety of devices
- Experience with J2ME pre-processing frameworks and J2ME Java Verification
- Knowledge of .mobi guidelines, XHTML-MP, XML
- Small-screen UI experience

Community Manager / Interns
You will be mycitymate's ambassador and one of the most active mates in your city. This is a role that includes working from home and/or cyber-cafes most of the time plus occasional travel to Frankfurt and other mycitymate cities.

- Promote mycitymate on- and offline as a "voice of mycitymate"
- Organize and host events for our citymates
- Write the bi-weekly e-mail newsletter
- Execute guerilla street marketing campaigns
The very special qualifications required:
- Knowledge of your city's hot spots, influencers and business owners
- Good writing experience (ideally professional)
- Experience in planning and executing events for 50+ guests
- Guerilla marketing experience
- Can work independently and is self-motivated
- Is an active citymate
